The North Dallas/Collin County Division has established a strong relationship with the city of Prosper to insure HBA’s involvement in the creation of new building ordinances. Other areas of focus have been involvement in Green Built Texas, area impact fees and pending state legislation affecting the housing industry. The division’s bowling tournament benefits Creative Learning for Kids, which provides tutoring for children whose parents are serving in the armed forces in Iraq. One hundred percent of the ND/CC board regularly make contributions to HOMEPAC. The division has changed its schedule to year-round meetings.
