Elizabeth Newman, CGP, CGB, GMB
Elizabeth Newman Custom Homes
Elizabeth Newman is president of Surfside Development, Inc, dba Elizabeth Newman Custom Homes and president of EcoOasis Custom Homes, LLC. Elizabeth Newman Custom Homes is a design/build and remodeling company that has built Energy Star custom homes since May 2002. In September 2007 Elizabeth transitioned the company to Green Built Texas construction protocol. EcoOasis Custom Homes, LLC was formed in May of 2008 to bring awareness to the green building movement. Her homes are currently priced from $700,000 to $2 million and built in the urban areas of Dallas. Elizabeth has one of the first homes in the urban area of Dallas to be built utilizing wind energy and was one of the five homes featured on the 2009 NAHB Tour of Homes. She has received awards such as Dallas' "Best Builder" by D-Home Magazine and voted one of the "Top Ten Most Dynamic Women in Dallas" by Dallas Luxury Magazine. Elizabeth's industry experience began in 1991 working with a small custom builder and moved on to several years of working for some of the larger volume builders in the metroplex. Her passion is her continued work in community service and government relations for the HBA. Already working towards uniting the City of Dallas and its builders with Dallas City Hall at Planning and Development, Building Inspections, ZOAC, and Conservation/Overlay, it was a perfect fit to be a first-ever Dallas Division board member for the HBA and the 2007 Dallas Division president.

First Vice President
Carol Longacre, CGR, GMB, CAPS, CGP, RCS
Longacre Construction
Carol Longacre is vice president of Longacre Construction Company, a full service design build remodeling company formed in 1990. The company has won numerous ARC awards, was voted Denton County Best Home Improvement Company in 2008 and Carol was the recipient of the 2008 TAB Remodeler of the Year. She previously held positions as chair of the Remodelers Council, Education Committee chair, co-chair for HOMEPAC and currently serves as a trustee for the MEWA Trust. Carol is also a director of the Texas Association of Builders, where she serves as the chair of the State Remodelers Council and a trustee for BUILD-PAC, and National Association of Homebuilders where she serves on the NAHB committees of the CGR Board of Governors and the Education and Membership Committees, and is also a member of the NAHB Remodeler 20 Club. Longacre participates in HOMEPAC at all three levels and is a Gold Key Member at the local and state level. She has been married to her business partner, Dan, for 19 years; they have two children, Rhett, age 14, and Bailey, age 11.

Keller Webster
KWA Construction
Keller Webster has been a leader in the construction industry for nearly four decades, and is responsible for having completed more than 165 multifamily housing projects across the United States, representing an excess of 25,000 units. Since 2004, he has served as president and partner of KWA Construction, focused on providing the finest general construction services for multifamily residential buildings in Texas. His leadership within the construction industry has led to honors that include the appointment as an honored life director of HBA, a life director of the Texas Association of Builders and winning the 2004 TAB "Multifamily Builder of the Year" award. He has served as chairman of the Dallas Multifamily Builders Council three times.

However, it isn't the awards and accolades that bring meaning to Keller's job; it is the enduring relationships he has grown with both his company employees and clients throughout the years. These relationships have built strong bonds for all his business dealings.



Treasurer
Alice L. Hinkley, CPA

She has been in the real estate and mortgage lending arena since graduating from Baylor University in 1986 with a B.B.A. degree in accounting. Alice has served on the HBA Board of Directors for the past two years. She has also served on the Board of Directors of HomeAid/HomeBuilders Care, the official charity of the HBA, for six years, holding the position of president the last two years. She previously served as Fundraising Committee chairman and vice president of HA/HBC. Hinckley participates in HOMEPAC as a Senator's Club member. Hinckley is a member of Altrusa of Downtown Dallas Women's Service Club, The Women's Auxiliary of Nexus Recovery Center, Welcome Committee Chairman at Brookhaven Country Club, Plano/Richardson Kappa Delta Alumnae Association, and will continue to serve on the Board of HomeAid/HomeBuilders Care as the immediate past president. Alice is married to Bob Hinckley of Lake Crest Homes, an HBA member for more than 10 years. They met on a blind date to the HBA Casino Christmas in 2003. When not working or volunteering, Alice is on a tennis court or golf course, traveling or reading, which are some of her favorite pastimes.
